Child and Teen Therapy
Child and Teen therapy offers children and teens a safe, supportive space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface—feelings they might not fully understand or know how to talk about. With warmth and compassion, we help teens make sense of their emotions, build confidence, and strengthen their relationships. Our goal is to support both kids and their families through life’s challenges, fostering lasting emotional growth and connection.
Psychiatric evaluations
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation helps us understand what a child or teen is experiencing—whether it’s emotional distress, attention challenges, mood shifts, or behavioral concerns. Through a thoughtful and compassionate process, we assess symptoms, gather input from families, and collaborate with schools or other providers when needed. Our goal is to build a clear picture and offer personalized recommendations that support each child’s unique path to well-being.
Medication and supplement management
When appropriate, psychiatric medication can be an important tool in helping children and teens manage conditions like ADHD, anxiety, or depression. We work closely with families to ensure thoughtful, individualized care—always with a focus on the child’s well-being, safety, and long-term growth.
Meet your provider Dr. Cornejo
Dr. Miglia Cornejo joined Blossom Center in 2025 with a dedicated focus on child and adolescent psychiatry. Her work centers on supporting young people through the emotional and developmental challenges that arise during the most formative years of life.
Dr. Cornejo takes a relational and developmentally informed approach, recognizing that children and teens thrive when their emotional needs are understood in the context of their family systems, cultural background, and individual temperament. She works closely with both young clients and their caregivers to foster emotional regulation, strengthen identity, and build healthy coping skills that support long-term well-being.
Dr. Cornejo helps children and adolescents navigate anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and identity-related concerns. Her goal is not only to address immediate concerns but to equip young people with the self-awareness and emotional resilience they need to flourish.
