About Us
Blossom Center for Integrative Psychiatry
Blossom Center for Integrative Psychiatry was borne of the understanding that treating mental health requires treating the entire person. We offer a broad range of services to address mental, emotional, and physical well-being in order to help our patients grow and overcome their challenges.
Meet Dr. Mao
Dr. Mao is the Founder and Medical Director of Blossom Center for Integrative Psychiatry.
A Message from Dr. Mao
I have always been interested in people and in what creates both meaning and suffering in their lives. To understand that question, I have explored many educational paths over time, including humanities, economics, medicine and ethics. As a medical student, I found psychiatry to be the discipline that really got to the heart of the matter. As a practicing psychiatrist, I have seen these fundamental issues unfold time and time again: Why do I feel the way that I feel? How can I become the person that I want to be?
I believe that at its best, psychiatric treatment is a partnership. My goal is to help my patients better understand themselves to become informed and efficacious authors of their own stories.

Meet Dr. Cornejo
Dr. Cornejo joined Blossom Center in 2025, focusing on both adult and child psychiatry.
A Message from Dr. Cornejo
I approach mental health through a whole-person lens, recognizing the deep connections between mind, body, and environment, and how each plays a role in healing and growth.
I am particularly interested in how childhood and early relationships shape the way we navigate the world, as well as how cultural identity influences mental health. I believe that self-understanding leads to transformation. When people are given the right tools, insight, and support, they can live their lives in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling.
